Student Action Plan Against Bullying

Ready to take action to address bullying? Maybe not sure how to start? As a student, bullying is something that impacts you, your peers, and your school – whether you’re the target of bullying, a witness, or the person who bullies. Bullying can end, but that won’t happen unless students, parents, and educators work together and take action.

Tell Us Why You Care

  • nobody should be belittled or treated differently.

    HIA — 18
  • I care because I'm going to stick up to that bully and not let them treat me like this I'm better than that I'm strong I'm kind I'm sweet hearted

    Jazmynn — 15
  • I care because the action of the person who is getting bullied could do something extreme to retaliate against their bully, can end up ruining their life just from one action that they will later regret.

    Emily — 17
  • Being in middle school is rough, especially when you think of other things than the kids in class. Let's say, I'm in class and everyone thinks that class is so annoying and terrible. So what do I do, I speak up for myself, saying that the class isn't that bad and it's not even that hard. But I always get shut down by things like, "what are you talking about" or "omg no it is you're actually being so annoying". Which i know from experience, can shut you down pretty fast. Please stop these hurtful statements, you're not cool if you say this, you might not even realize it's bullying, but it is. Please stop.

    Rosie — 12
  • There should be no reason that people should be bullied or harmed for no reason.

    Cole — 11
  • Social Media wasn't made for people to post hateful things, it was made to share happy experiences and feelings, not to cyber bully.

I was bullied in elementary school
Anonymous

When I was in 4th grade I liked this one boy but there were 2 people who would always bully me because of it. They would laugh at me for it. They would go out of their way to make me feel miserable. I finally stood up to them one day and then I reported them to the principal.
