Student Action Plan Against Bullying

Ready to take action to address bullying? Maybe not sure how to start? As a student, bullying is something that impacts you, your peers, and your school – whether you’re the target of bullying, a witness, or the person who bullies. Bullying can end, but that won’t happen unless students, parents, and educators work together and take action.

  • I care, because no person on earth should be bullied and should be treated equally.

  • I care because i have been through bullying and cyber bullying and i know how it feels to be made fun of. I know that it hurts when people are saying hurtful things to your face and online and I struggled with being bullied all through out elementary school and middle school. Bullying tears people down and make the person being bullied feel very bad about themselves. I can tell from experience that when people said rude and unkind things to me I wanted to hurt myself and get mad at myself for looking the way i did or for how people were talking about me. i blamed the hurt on myself which wasn’t the right thing to do. I told trusted adults about what was going on and they handled it for me. Bullying is so tremendously wrong so if you see someone being bullied don’t be scared and stand up for them. Put yourself in their shoes and think about how you would feel. I know i would feel horrible. I care because i know bullying is wrong and that it needs to be stopped.

  • I care because, I also have problems being bullied about my eyes because they are 2 different colors and i been getting bullied since 5th grade to 8th grade. And I read this quote every day that says, "It gets better. I know it’s really hard, and you might feel like giving up sometimes, but you have to be yourself and stay confident. Don’t let them get to you. I know you’re suffering, but at some point you’ll be proud of yourself for all that you’ve been through. And if anyone judges you, it is their own problem. Those people have no idea what you’ve been through. They probably couldn’t even take it. But you had to take it. And you’re still here going on with your life. And that’s why you can be proud of yourself." And it lets me know gods on my side.

I was bullied in elementary school
Anonymous

When I was in 4th grade I liked this one boy but there were 2 people who would always bully me because of it. They would laugh at me for it. They would go out of their way to make me feel miserable. I finally stood up to them one day and then I reported them to the principal.
